This is the twelfth of a series of articles about self-care.
Today’s poem, perspective and question are poised to inspire us to be fully present as we make choices from the heart.

A poem.
The poem below, flowed from my hand during an intuitive prompting. Its intention is to evoke the presence required to make life-affirming decisions.
A Fresh Start for the Heart
If there ever,
were a time,
to grant ourself
the peace of mind,
to wildly bite
the apple crisp,
and lushly suck
our lower lip,
this time has come
to reap what’s sown,
and really live this life
Full Blown.
Perspective.
We make hundreds of choices every day, and each choice affects us and others. Choices can lift us up and drag us down. They can fill us with the joyous vitality of life, numb us out, make us tired or leave us wailing in pain. The more we fully engage in our choices, being fully present to live our “yes” or “no” (rather than half-in, half-out), the more peace, passion and joy we will experience.
Question: Will You be fully present in your choices?
I encourage you! Become aware of your choices and love them. Be fully present when you say “yes” or “no.” No one can be present for you. And by being present for yourself, you always know that somebody cares. Let us know how applying today’s concepts works for you by commenting below! We enjoy hearing from you 🙂
